Speaker Biography:
John S. Rego oversees finance and corporate development at Vonage and as CFO
manages accounting, finance, business development, planning and investor relations.
Mr. Rego most recently served as Vice President of Finance for business operations
at RCN Corporation (Nasdaq: RCNC). Prior to RCN, Mr. Rego spent several years
at Winstar Communications in a variety of corporate and operational finance positions,
including Vice President of Finance for the SME, Internet, Web Hosting and Professional
Services divisions. Additionally, Mr. Rego spent over 14 years in practice as
a certified public accountant with international CPA firms and, has a wide array
of experience guiding small and large companies through growth stages including
taking private companies public, raising capital, managing mergers and acquisitions,
overseeing corporate accounting and guiding taxation strategies.
Mr. Rego holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Rutgers University.
