Signature Healthcare is the first “concièrge,” or membership-based, medical practice in the Carolinas. It offers patients 24/7 access to physicians, individualized attention, and a wide range of services. Patients pay an annual membership fee-allowing the practice to maintain a smaller number of patients-thus making it possible for the physicians to spend optimum time with each patient, offer same day appointments, provide after-hours care, and no waiting room time.

Among the medical services offered are general Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and emergency treatment of wounds and orthopedic injuries. Each member is given an annual comprehensive physical exam. This, combined with extensive knowledge if their medical history and lifestyle, allows Signature physicians to see the whole patient when making critical medical decisions and planning for their wellness.

Signature Healthcare’s office is as unique as its approach to medicine. Soothing classical music, examination rooms with individual climate controls, walls brimming with original art, and cotton robes make patients comfortable and relaxed. A full lab and x-ray limits costly and inconvenient trips to the emergency department. When needed, Signature physicians admit their patients to local hospitals.

Jordan Lipton, MD, CM, FACEP, is board certified in both Emergency and Ambulatory Medicine and has been practicing in Charlotte since 1993. He and his wife have two children. He is on the Medical Advisory Board of Heartbright Foundation, is an Advisory Committee Member of the Carolinas HealthCare Foundation Integrative Health Fund and is a member of the Charlotte City Club.
