Ken Jones
Director of Entrepreneurship

Speaker Biography:
Ken Jones has a wide array of experience creating, building and selling businesses, with concentrations in the software development and financial institutional marketplace. As President of KenJones Partners, he brings forth his invaluable consulting experience and provides strategic as well as practical advisory services for revenue and cost optimization to small and medium-sized businesses.

For the past 10 years, Ken has been an adjunct professor teaching both Graduate and Undergraduate courses at the University of Houston. He has taught Professional Selling and all five Entrepreneurship courses offered to undergrads: Revenues, Costs, Capital Creation, Corporate Form and Business Plan Preparation and Implementation. For the past three years, he has been the sole Entrepreneurship instructor at the Graduate level of the Business School. In addition, Ken was recently named Director of Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston Downtown, which now offers a minor in Entrepreneurship to the 13,000 students enrolled at the school.

Ken has an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and a masters from The University of Houston.
